Van Ramps The Low Cost Alternative to a Lift

Handi-Ramp's Van Ramp System Series is designed to be mounted in any van or mini-van using a quick and simple 3-Bolt installation, with no modification to your vehicle. They are made with strong, durable construction of either aluminum or expanded metal. The van ramps fold up vertically inside the van door conserving passenger space. All of the ramps in the Van Ramp Series are equipped with "spring assisted lifting" for ease of use. The weights listed below approximate lifting effort. The are all equipped with non-skid tread ways and wheel guides for added safety.

Sturdy and Easy to Install

The Galvanized Steel Ramp System is designed for permanent or semi-permanent ramp situations. Each section can be used individually or as a component of a larger ramp system. Our staff of ADA experts can assist you in designing a ramp system to meet your specific needs and to fit your location.
Our standard ramp width is 37 1/2 inches. Ramps with special widths, up to 48 inches, are also available.
Handrails listed below are for both sides of a ramp, single bar construction. Double bar handrails are also available.

This Aluminum Sectional Ramp System is designed as an attractive alternative to our Galvanized Steel Ramp product line. The modular ramp design makes this system easily expandable - the 4 foot, 5 foot, 6 and 8 foot sections are completely interchangeable. Because of it's light weight and sectional design this ramp system is the perfect option for meeting ADA requirements when it is desirable to have a portable ramp system.

This is the perfect ramp for servicing many different needs:

• It can expand or contract to individual customer needs,

• It is easy to install or take down,

• It is light weight and can easily fit in a small delivery truck or minivan, and

• When not in use, Aluminum Sectional Ramps store in a very small space - a 24' ramp (without handrails) will store in a space 76" tall by 38" deep by 10 1/2" wide.

• Each ramp section connects and disconnects using our removable hinge pin design. This means that our Aluminum Sectional Ramps can be assembled in minutes without using any tools.

Our standard ramp width is 36 inches. Ramps with special widths, up to 48 inches, are also available.

Handrails are standard double bar construction from galvanized steel and use aluminum mounting brackets. Retro-Fit handrail kits can be purchased for ramp systems originally purchased without handrails.

LIGHTWEIGHT - EASY TO USE

The Track System from Handi-Ramp is a full range of lightweight, portable wheel and power chair tracks (or channel ramps) designed to be convenient and easy to use. Tracks are manufactured from durable, extruded aluminum with a non-skid surface for decades of useful service. They are available in a range of lengths corresponding to the single and multiple-step barriers commonly encountered in everyday living.

LIGHTWEIGHT

The Track line now includes the lightest, most portable wheelchair track products available on the market today. Our new 30" Tracks weigh only 4 1/2 lbs. per track, while the new 45" unit weighs only 6 1/2 lbs. per track. Yet both systems will easily accommodate weights of up to 600 lbs.

EASY TO USE

All Handi-Track systems feature a 6 3/4" width (inner dimension) to accommodate the widest wheelchair offset and camberage. There are no difficult-to-manipulate buttons or telescoping parts to separate or catch on wheels.
All Tracks feature Easy-Carry Handles that reduce stress on fingers and wrists. Tracks that are 60" and longer are hinged for additional convenience and portability.

Super-Duty Tracks are made from heavier gauge extruded aluminum designed to provide extra strength and weight capacity.

The Stabilizer Bar

Handi-Ramp also offers the Stabilizer Bar, an important new accessory developed specifically to keep Tracks from moving or sliding while in use. The Stabilizer Bar ensures absolute Track System stability for van access or particularly steep applications. To use, simply mount the stabilizer bar on the threshold of a barrier or van doorway, then securely lock each Track down into it.

Concrete Deck Ramp

The Concrete Deck Ramp System (CDR Series) from Handi-Ramp will make your modular class rooms or offices ADA compliant. These tough, durable ramp systems look and feel permanent, but they are modular and can be relocated. We build these systems using a heavy duty steel tube frame and a concrete panel surface.
This ramp system has the look and feel of a poured concrete ramp. However, the cost is substantially less than poured concrete and this system is much simpler to install.

INSTALLATION

The Concrete Deck Ramp System is designed to fit your location. Installation is quick and easy. Ramp sections and platforms simply bolt together. The adjustable legs allow for installation on an uneven surface and makes leveling easy.
Handrails bolt onto the steel frame of the ramp system. A wide variety of handrail options are available to meet all federal and local compliance requirements.
